The short version

Calla stores your data on your device. We don't sell it, share it, or send it to advertising networks. We don't even see it.

Who we are

Calla is a period and cycle tracking app for teens and young adults. It is operated by Heitz Advisory LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Mountain View, California.

What data we collect and where it stores

Data you enter into the app

Everything you log in Calla — cycle dates, symptoms, moods, notes — is stored on your device only, using your phone's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up (see below).

Data we do NOT collect

Crash reporting

We use a crash reporting tool (Sentry) to help us fix bugs. If the app crashes, a technical report is sent that includes your device type and iOS version. This report never includes any health data, cycle data, or personal information you've entered. You can opt out of crash reporting in Settings → Privacy.
